Measuring Track and Insole Lengths
Shoeprint, footprint, and sole measurements should be made at the point where the vertical aspect of the slope meets or exceeds the horizontal aspect.
For shoeprints made with outsoles that have vertical walls, this will be the edge of the shoeprint. For footprints and shoeprints made with outsoles that have curved edges, this is where the slope is 45°.
